Hi Guys

Just some helpfull advice really.

A couple of years ago I had to go to TDS but this was thrown back by the TDS because the statuatory Appendix was not included by the Agent/landlord. This resulted in me taking many months and a couple of thousand in legal fees to get my deposit back.

So this time around, yet again the appendix wasn't included. So, this time when I had to go to The Dispute Service I pleaded in the cover letter that the TDS still mediate. It worked! I dont what the result is yet, but my case has just been mediated over.

So, morale of the story? If your with the TDS and the required clauses (G) are not included as they should be, dont panic! You don't have to go to court. Just ask in your cover letter to the TDS to please continue to mediate and it appears they will .....
