Apologies for the 'near duplication' as I can see many others trying to establish an 'absolute' response to this issue and maybe there isn't one?

However, if one has (and I do) several DEFAULTS registered on your Credit Report, but for a period of time had made voluntary payments to these companies, which were then stopped due to their unreasonable behaviour (my opinion of course) and the discovery of CAG, then the question becomes:

WHEN DO THESE DEFAULTS BECOME 'ELIGIBLE' TO BE REMOVED - EITHER AUTOMATICALLY OR BY APPLICATION - IS IT

(A) 6 YEARS FROM BEING REGISTERED, OR

(B) 6 YEARS FROM THE LAST VOLUNTARY PAYMENT WAS MADE OR

© NEVER, BECAUSE THE DEBT STILL EXISTS???

IF (A) OR (B), what action do I need to take and who do I contact?

Many thanks!!

unless ofcourse they didn't have a valid cca for the time it was issued.

no cca = no processing of data!

and the defaults should be removed forthwith.

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

Impressive!

Many thanks for the supaquick replies

NONE of my 'alleged Creditors' have yet produced a satisfactory CCA, so potentially, I could seek to have them removed 'forthwith' according to 'dx100uk'.

This being so, can you please advise on the process - ie what to say and to whom??

However, even IF I waited until the full 6 years from date of the defaults being registered, how would I go about getting them removed then - or is it 'automatic?".

Thanks guys!

the process is to write to the CRA pointing out that there are markers that have been placed on your file from xxx co. when the account was indispute

p'haps also inc athe letter you sent.

they should then check and remove them if all goes well

now there are some threads on this in this forum and the results can vary.

but if the info is incorrect, then it should be removed
