Hi Guys

Can anyone point me in the right direction? I have a credit mark on a HP loan, I have SAR the company, they show the balance as 0, however it is showing on a CRA as still owing dept. Is there a template letter for its removal anywhere? If not what should be the outline of the letter with all the legal mobo jumbo...

Easiest approach maybe a letter to the creditor explaining that there is adverse information recorded with the CRA & ask them to amend / update the file entry. If everything is settled with the creditor this shouldn't be a problem.

if you get no joy, try an ICO complaint & a s.10 Data Protection data subject notice (template in the library)

Hope this helps

have you paid off the loan

this normally happens if the account has been sold to a dca, the creditor on selling the account reduces the account to zero

thats why i asked if the account has been settled or not
