    • I have no doubts whatsoever that the actual number peak number of people tested a day (or perhaps even actual tests possible a day) struggles to hit between 60-80,000 per day and any higher figures are just boosted by holding back the sending out of a blocks 40,000+ home tests, probably no more than half of which at best actually give 'real results. .. further boosted by nothing but lies   Someone needs to tell Johnson and Handcock that coronavirus is spread by blowing hot air .. it will only be effectively addressed by real actions and openness

    • Hi,
I was in Sainsbury’s today and did scan and shop.
I arrived in after a busy day at work and immediately got distracted by the clothes.

I put a few things in my trolley and then did a shop.
I paid and was about to get into my car when the security guard stopped me and asked me to come back in.

I did and they took me upstairs.
I was mortified and said I forgot to scan the clothes and a conditioner, 5 items.
I know its unacceptable but I was distracted and Initially hadn’t really planned to use scan and shop.

      No excuse.
I offered to pay for the goods but the manager said it was too late.
He looked at the CCTV and because I didn’t try to scan the items he was phoning the police.

The cost of the items was about £40.
I was crying at this point and told them I was a nurse, just coming from work and I could get struck off.

They rang the police anyway and they came and issued me with a community resolution notice, which goes off my record in a year.
I feel terrible. I have to declare this to my employer and NMC.

They kept me in a room on my own with 4 staff and have banned me from all stores.
The police said if I didn’t do the community order I would go to court and they would refer me to the PPS.

      I’m so stressed,
can u appeal this or should I just accept it?

      Thanks for reading

Hi all.

A friend wants pealla she loves it when she go to restaurant as she cant have it due to her partner having a shell fish allergie.

I have looked about online but cant find any recipes that dont call from shell fish, mostly prawns, mussels and cockles. I have also asked my local morrisons fish guy who advised me cause he did not have a gold star on his badge he could not advise me on cooking tips.

What can i tell my mate she can use in pealla with the chicken in place of the shellfish?

there shouldn't be any problem about this. Simply use good chunks of white fish. To give it some interest value, use a variety such as cod, coalie, and if the flavour is acceptable some smoked haddock. Try out some fish sauce from a Chinese and Thai supermarket but check with your friend that she can tolerate this to begin with. If she can take fish sauce -- then you are home and dry because it has a very strong flavour which is what is contributed by the shellfish. Also, see whether she is able to eat squid. Squid has a good flavour that it may not cause the allergy problem which one finds with normal crustaceans.

The trick about the fish is really to add them only at the very last moment so that they are cooked -- but only just so that they retain their moisture. You can add the fish sauce more in advance though. Don't put too much fish sauce or it will dominate the chicken.
