I have a couple of questions and I am wondering if anybody can help me.

I have 2 credit cards with Bank of Scotland. I have been down the CCA request route - what they sent me for both cards was totally unenforceable (Have them checked on this site). I then on the 18th May

sent them the S.A.R. request which they acknowledge receiving and my cheque for £10.00 was cashed but as of todays date 26.06.09 nothing has

yet been received for either account.

I am sure the time for receiving them is almost up. If I do not received them what is my next step.

I also have a Barclaycard debt which has been passed on to a company called Edinburgh Debt Managers. I sent them a CCA request on 27th April, 2009 which I received an acknowledge letter on the 8th May - since then I have not heard a word. What do I do next just keep quite until they get in touch again or is there a letter for me to send to them.

Sorry this is so long

Thanks for any help

Judi

You can either issue a Letter Before Action giving them 14 days to supply the SAR and enclose a copy of your original request. If they fail to respond then you could take them to court where a court would award you compensation - have a look at these

Or you could report them to the Information Commissioners Office, but don't expect a response for a long time as they are up to their eyeballs...
