Have just had a letter claiming to be a default notice for a current a/c. I'll upload the letter shortly. Thing is the a/c has be dormant, at my request for years. The balance is considerable, it is not minus. This is the first letter I've had since I stopped using the a/c. I'll going to enjoy composing a letter for these dimwits in the next few days.

EDIT - I'll redo the jeg, it's too small

Well, for a start that is not a default notice within the meaning of the Consumer Credit Act.

I would suggest a stiffly worded letter, pointing out the account is in credit and asked them to explain why they are theatening such action in these circumstances.
