well this is a long one so please bear with me

i have a current account with halifax after being constantly nagged to upgrade from a casg easy account

back in october 2008 i aranged an overdraft online of 100pounds that day it got accepted and said it would be available straight away, later that day i took some money out and got charged 28.00 pounds for an un arranged overdraft so fair enough was my own fault there.

then i used my overdraft as normal but decided to apply for 200pounds

but this never got accepted. i then payd my over draft back as normal i had this overdraft for 2 weeks max and it got taken of me?? no reason or written conformation so because i hadnt piked up on this a dd went out this made me incure charges upon charges.

in december after a default i rang up after the busy shedule of months to ask about my account as to why this overdraft was taken of me after being on the phone 30mins he tried to fob me of with 'your overdraft was only a trial" i told him i had a letter sateing this was not true my agrreed overdraft should of stayed on till october 2009 as stated in my letter

he told me theres nothing he could do and forwarded me to head office where they told me was an halifax error but couldnt do anything about it because it was too late.

now months later my account is -190 pounds

just wondering is there anything i can do as they kep taking my weekly benefits out of my cash card account to pay for this

kind regards tallia
