Today I found a parking fine on the windscreen of my girlfriend car that I was driving.

The car Park in question is one of the staff car park of WHipps Cross hospital. I am staff and I should get discount rates if i disply the ticket together with the parking permit.

I did not paid the ticket as out of 4 ticket machines only one work and there are no instruction on how to issue staff-rate tickets. I don't agree on paying the full visitor ticket and therefore I didn't do it

The car belong to my girlfriend but the parking permit at the place of work is registered to me. Thus, even though I am not the registered keeper, CP PLUS is aware of the driver name and address as it can only be me that park the car there using the staff parking permit which they issue. therefore, they do not need to go through the DVLA to find out registered owner details and driver.

I am not sure what to do. i don't want to pay the fine as I believe it is a **** and I was thinking of using one of the template I found on this forum but I am not sure which one to use.

Should I wait that my girlfriend or I receive a letter from CP PLUS?

Should I ask my girlfriend to appeal with them about the fine within 7 days (as they state in the fine small prints) ?

Should I appeal within 7 days, as I am the parking permit holder?

and which template would be more appropriate in this case?

Best Regards

Fantastic forum!!!;-)
