Now then,

One of my mates in work today asked me about his gf getting harrased by Baillifs over an unpaid parking ticket.

Apparently, she paid it (I presume late) at the end of May, direct to the Council. She had had no contact fromthe Baillifs whatsoever when she paid it, I am told.

Early last week she received a letter from some Baillifs (awaiting details) dated 1st June (ish) - two weeks pre dated it seems.

Since then she says she has received another letter with additional fees...

And she has sent them letters... And they hung up on her earlier when she tried to deal them... And she phoned her fella (my mate) in an absolute tizzy...:-x Oh really, Mr Baillif? Not heard about this before...

I am dealing with my own CT issues myself currently, so I understand some things, but not the specifics of Parking Fines. I know nothing about parking fines, could someone give me a pointer to get started, please?

I understand she has had no visits, just letters, but awaiting details.

Her car is rented.

What can they do? What pre-cautions need taking?

Cheers guys :-)
