I requested, via the format available on this site, a copy an executed copy of my agreement and all they have provided is a blank copy of their standard form with an accompanying letter suggesting that they have fulfilled their obligation under section 78. What do I do now? I suspect they are trying to pull a fast one here. Please help, I'm going out of my mind with worry. rgds mooiismum

Hi Mooiismum and welcome to CAG. I've moved your thread into the BC forum, so you're amongst friends. :)

If you read other threads here, you'll see many others are having the same problems getting sight of their credit agreement.

BC won't send you the credit agreement in response to a CCA request. See here for a reply to send BC which disputes the adequacy of their reply - http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/barclaycard/167584-barclaycard-no-cca.html#post1821561

Look at the CPR thread in Link No2 in my signature below. You may find it a bit daunting if you're new to the site. You only need to read the first few posts.

You say you're going out of your mind with worry. What is your problem and how do you want to resolve it.

Are there any penalty charges on this a/c - these can be easily reclaimed.

Have you been charged PPI which you didn't ask for, or was inappropriate for your circumstances.

We could do with some help from you

Thanks slick132, this is the info is brilliant. I think I will be able to sleep tonight, It's nice to know there are friends waiting to help. The phone calls

drive me nuts, I've turned my phone off so not to hear it ringing, but this means

that I feel cut off from the outside world. I'll get the letter off 2morro, by the way, they cashed my £1 postal order. kind rgds mooiismum

Hi Mooiismum,

From your comments, I assume you are having problems keeping up payments on the BC a/c.

If BC and/or Mercers are calling often, see this - http://www.consumerforums.com/resources/templates-library/52-harassment/135--harassment-by-telephone-response-letter-

Sleep better tonight. ;)
