Bank Charges Test Case In Lords Next Week. Not offered full amount? You don't lose right to reclaim more later. Updated Guide

The hold on bank charges reclaiming doesn't apply if you're in financial hardship. We've had lots of reports of banks only offering to give back part of the claim, causing reclaimers a dilemma. The rules: Accepting doesn't mean you forgo rights to the rest. The FSA rules say IF the test case result shows you're entitled to more, banks must then make up the difference. So fight on if you can, but don't be afraid to take cash if urgently needed.
