Does a termination notice need to demand repayment of the full balance on the account? I have received a letter from Co-op bank stating the account is terminated but it doesn't say anything about demanding repayment of the full balance outstanding.

So, it it a termination notice?

Thanks

If they say it is terminated, then it's terminated ;)

demanding the full balance is just another way to terminate.

Sort of! The Default Notice & this cancellation / termination notice were both issued on the same day, 1 April!

Also the DN was dated 1 April and gave until 15 April to rectify so didn't give 14 days from service. And I paid the arrears stated on the default notice on 9 April and it is showing as a credit on my co-op account as at 15 April.
