My car has been written off due to serious damage.third party left scene without leaving no details as i was not around my parked car. Police looking into it. I have just realised that my mot has expired.

Will this affect the claim.

Advice will be appreciated.

:D

Thanks.

It won't affect the claim per se. It may affect the valuation of your vehicle for the pay out.

You may also find yourself prosecuted for the offence of no MoT; unless the incident occurred whilst you were taking the car to/from an MoT test or to/from repair following an MoT test fail.
