Had my car towed on saturday having returned to it late (was parked in a marked bay but restricted to 30mins).

PCN does not have an actual time on it but refers to 'the vehicle having been observed from 10.59 to 11.30 - so the earliest it could have been served was 11.30 presumably...?

Authoristaion to remove was timed at 11.42

In all the fluster unfortunately I didn't have the presence of mind to check the time when I saw them putting it on the tow-truck but there were several observers who all said that it was within 5-10 minutes of putting the Authoristaion to remove notice on.

I understand that they have to wait 30mins after the PCN is issued before they can remove the vehicle, but wanted to check if this relates to the authorisation to remove (which I can prove) or when it was actually towed (which I can't).

If the latter, when are they deemed to have removed the vehicle - is this when the tow-truck turns up or when it drives away...?

Any suggestions/help welcome!
