My last letter to MIL Collections went like this..............

Dear Monkey in charge of compliance,

Ref no: 12345678

In reply to your letter dated 5/1/2010....

NO!!!

Yours Faithfully, Mr F Bobble.

And I've heard nothing back from them since. :D

(the word "No" was in much bigger letters)

I'm sure as soon as they saw the F. Bobble, they ran a mile :D

My fastest exit was Scotcall claiming they had been insctructed by 1st Crud.

Got their letter 11 sept 09, came about 11.45am, email them straight away, got a reply "we have returned account to our client" 12.22pm

You win! :D

I had a few Moorcroft prepaid envelopes. They somehow attached themselves to roof tiles that were wrapped in brown paper, and acidentally fell into the postbox.

So, Wescot realises the game's up and just doesn't even bother trying any more.

They have so little faith that in what they do that they fold after one reply telling them to go away?

Shame they can't vanish out of existence all-round, and permanently.

Well to be honest, I've never really had a prob getting rid of them before.

Usually manage to get a few mortal insults in first though.

All was quiet for me for most of the summer, then I get MIL Collections pestering, so I get rid of them with a couple of letters.

Then the day before Christmas Eve, I get 3 different ones all at once. (DCA's are like buses sometimes)

Typical of the DCA business though, makes sure peeps get 7 days to pay or else, send it by TNT Mail so it takes 5 days to arrive, then they hope with 2 days remaining, you'll call in a panic, so they can make your Christmas miserable. I just put them in my "Things to deal with once Christmas is over" file. Then around the 7th Jan I got them out, worked out which one to ignore and which to fire off CCA requests.

This month all 7 seem to be at it in one way or another. :D New DCA's to play with all at the same time. The newspaper articles must be true and they are desperate for money.

Sorry guys, none coming from me. The Stella and Carlsberg fairy is getting all my spare cash this month. I told a Muck Hall threat monkey that, last week. I said I would only consider it, once they provided me with an enforceable CCA. And finding one of those for this alledged debt will be harder than finding the holy grail.

Before I knew this place existed? it took me 2 months to get wescot off my back hounding me by letter for a mobile phone contract from 3 mobile and the last contact with them I cut that down to 2 days. All thanls to the powers of this wonderful forum. Wouldn't know where I would be without it. If they bother me again for anythingentonally keep it going longer next time as they're so inept/dumb and stupid it would be fun to toy with them. ;)

  • 4 weeks later...

This near mythical beast knocked my door just now claiming to be from Barclaycard, but errr...his ID that said he worked for Resolvecall (Scotcall).

Told him to get off the property which he promptly did

He's still not aware he was asking for somebody I've never heard of - but you just can't let an opportunity like that pass you by.:lol::lol:
