Just had a lovely conversation with Moorcroft.

MC: Is that DJ?

DJ: Yes.

MC: I am calling from MC. Can you confirm the first line of your address please?

DJ: No

MC: Oh, Why not?

DJ: I don't want to.

MC: Oh, but we need to speak to you urgently about an outstanding bill.

MC: Can you confirm the first line of your address?

DJ: No

MC: We sent you a letter. Did you receive it?

DJ: Yes, and I sent you a recorded delivery reply yesterday.

MC: We haven't received it yet.

MC: I need to talk to you about your debt. Can you confirm the first line of your address?

DJ: No

MC: Why not? We really need to talk to you and discuss your accounts.

DJ: Wait for my letter and you can then respond in writing.

MC: But you are on the phone now and I really need to discuss your debt with you.

DJ: No, wait for my letter and then reply in writing.

MC: In that case, I will send you another letter and then get someone to call around your house to talk about the debt.

He never heard the last OK as he had hung up already.

Made me laugh. I have CCA'd the OC with no reply and have sent them an 'In dispute' letter which they haven't replied to. Before Moorcroft, it was Triton, and so the merry-go-round goes on. I sent the bemused letter to MC yesterday.
