Due to BTs mess up with my dierct debits I have moved my landline to

yourcalls.net.

I now owe around £40 to BT but will need to pay this off in installments as I am in receipt of benefit.

If I do not pay BT the full amount straight away.

Can they still restrict my line although thet are not my landline provider

now thanks.:)

Is Yourcalls.net a supplier that uses BT lines?

If so, then you will still be paying line rental to BT., on top of any call charges from Yourcalls.

As long as you are using BT lines then I would think that they can still restrict your service, by disconnecting your line.

I could be wrong. I'm sure you will soon get some more opinions on this.

You won't be BT's customer if you switch, as your suggested firm will charge you for their own calls and line rental. It may be useful to see what they additionally charge for NOT paying by DD or paying late. Do remember Do ensure you are outwith any minimum term BT may have imposed.
