I want to get word out about a migration agency that in my opinion has given inaccurate and misleading migration advice and extremely delayed if not ruined my chances of getting my husband a Settlement Visa for the UK.


I have lodged a complaint with the company requesting full reimbursement for fees paid but I have heard nothing from them for almost two months. I have also lodged my complaint with the OISC who regulate migration agents however unfortunately they also seem to be a little slow in getting back to me.


I don’t want other people going through what I have and really feel this company should be closed down until they can provide the service they say they provide. Does anyone have any suggestions of how I can do this without being liable for defamation?

I think that you need to chase up the OISC and ask for an update.

I don't know how long they normally take to respond, but if it has been over 3 weeks since you contacted them, then I think that a letter to them is in order.
