I too would have loved to have gone but sadly am unable to afford.

 

I did also suggest that the CAGmeet could be held from lunchtime which gives some of us with commitments (I have a dog) chance to meet and others with cash longer to drink LOL

Was advertised in the meets section and a few peeps have mentioned it in other threads. Was going to go, but don't start my new job till the end of the month, and cash is so scarce, that I have been to KFC and had to lick other people's fingers.

 

I'm organising one in sunny Stoke on Trent soon. Nice central location by train and car, and a really nice B&B in the centre of Hanley 1 mins walk from the bus station that charges £27 for a single room and a really nice breakfast.

 

It won't be a sitting in the pub night out though, too many good bars and clubs with good drinks offers on.

 

This will not be just a night out. This will be a fuzzybobble night out. 8)

My supper after a night out is usually breakfast when I get home at 5am.

 

Or possibly a cheese and bacon oatcake from the oatcake van outside where Woolworths used to be in Hanley.

Would like to come to this one, I can get to Stoke quite easily on the coach from Victoria.

 

I'm in Ireland for a few days in August and a few days in September I will be in France, but apart from those I can come.... count me in!!!!

The city is 1 of the biggest & best in the UK & prob has the best nightlife scene outside of London

Thread moved to BG from the debt forums, as it seems to be non-specific and more of a general discussion. Hope that's ok Babybear.

 

There are plans afoot for a meet in Birmingham so that may be a good option for lots of people being so central and New Street train station is easily accessible from all over the country. I think Michael Browne has already linked to the CAG meet forum for those who haven't spotted it before, so thanks Michael. Having met your lovely daughter, perhaps we can finally get to meet you too.
