Decided to have a laugh and play along.

 

Anyone got any barcodes for baked beans or similar that could look like bank details.

My eldest (9) found some 35mm negatives today....

 

Him - what are these mummy?

Me - they're called negatives. Before digital cameras you would take a picture and when you took it to be printed you would get a photo and a negative.

Him (after a little thoughtful pause) - oh I get it, it's all the nasty bits taken out of the picture before you print it.

 

Sometimes they make you wish they would never ever grow up:)

First ever potatoes grown in garden for tea, along with runner beans (that OH grows most years). Also a few cherry tomatoes ripe which will go well with the basil and living salad that are growing on the window sill.:-)

Hi Lexis Yes it is a hospital that deals with the big 'C'. It was very good news. Even driving home in torrential downpours couldn't wipe the smile off our faces :-D

yes little teacup we had simialr news when we went to the hospital the other day, next appoitment for 6 months, my husband has been lucky after all the drama of the proceding months it felt as if they were talking to someone else

Having beaten cervical cancer myself I remember the feeling of being told everything is ok and walking around for weeks with a big smile. The world seems a whole lot better. :)

Big smiles for all of you then:) My OH's parents sadly both succumbed to cancer a year apart, so I'm always very chuffed to see other people beating the ba**ard disease.

Took part in a concert last night, RAOST Singers with guests Helston Town Band. The bands conductor was telling a few jokes (this is for the singers amongst you)
