Hi folks

I am unsure about wether i need to ask for a cca?

I have credit cards with Halifax,Barclayard and Egg, had a sizeable drop in income a few years ago, i still managed the repayments until a almost a couple of years ago,got default notices and have been paying reduced amounts via cccs since.I had ppi with halifax/barclaycard and have had many charges for late payment etc..

Halifax were the most problematic still added late payment charges and interest etc

I've had the halifax card and barlcayard for around 15years, the egg card for 7

Should i be trying to reclaim charges instead of asking for CCA??

It depends,

If charges and fees etc would wipe the balance or near enough at least that way your cf would clear.

If you do a sar you should get a copy of the agreement and statement of account which would then give you a clearer picture.

If you are not worried about your cf then cca would be the way.

Hope that make sense!
