Hi all, hubby got a ticket the other night from uk cps ltd.

on the ticket they've spelled the street name wrong

would this be grounds for an appeal

Hi Molsh, Welcome to the forums.

This is not a ticket like the ones you receive from the councils or the police which have statute backing behind them. This is an invoice for an alleged breach of contract.

Basically its a [problem]. There is no appeal. They just want your money.

Best advice is Don't contact them in anyway. They will probably obtain the RK details from the DVLA and then send you several letters insisting you should pay. These can be safely ignored.

Have a read of this thread and have a look around at some of the threads on the forum.
