Hello all - this is an absolute first for me posting on a forum...but having read loads about other peoples situations I thought I would see if someone could advise about my specific situation.

I took out some loans in around 2005 - ended up out of work for 6 months so defaulted on the payments - in Feb 2006 set up a dmp with payplan due to some of the reference numbers not being correct i ended up with 3 ccj from barclays. I stopped using payplan as it was just as easy to do it myself using sites like this for advise.

I have been paying very minimum quantities for 3 years now and last week put full and final payment offers to barclays, link (mbna debt) and blair, oliver (sainsbury loan) for 30% of current debt. (i got money from family)

All have refused barclays want about 60%, link want 60% and blair was 60%. All I wnat like most is a clean slate and to be able to start again - blair said as I was paying a substantial amount (£110 on £9000 debt) and was under 40 (only just) i was not high risk so hence the refusal.

Should I just keep offering - I am a single parent working full time.
