Help! I’m getting married next August and I don’t have my invitations picked out yet. But since it’s summertime and people plan their vacations early, I’m afraid that there will be scheduling conflicts if I don’t get busy. Should I send out “save the date” cards?

Sheduling conflicts?

Just make sure that you have a good buffet sorted and that the DJ wont be playing any Cliff Richard or Rick Astley and everyone should make the day with no excuses.

You've got your foot on the first slippery step:D

Actually, this is you and the future's wife's day. Have you picked out the venue for the reception. This is key to sorting out the numbers you invite.

I was lucky. I was able to book out a restaurant which was able to sit 50 with the tables set out in a U shape. This enabled everyone to talk to everyone else.

Once you have your guest list, send out your invites.

Speak to your GP regarding your vaccinations. I take it you are going abroad. Some vaccinations are spread over a few months. Don't miss them as some countries will not allow you in if you are not covered.

And finally, congratulations and good luck.
