Hi there,

This is my first post.

On the 27/01/09 I parked up in St Peters Retail Park in Burton on Trent. I have today received a parking charge notice from TPS Parking solutions, demanding £70 dropping to £50 if i pay within 14 days. They say I overstayed the 2 hour parking limit by 18 minutes. There were parking notices displayed as you entered the site, but not that easy to see. I actually spend money at one of the shops (Dunelm Mills).

What do you think my options are?

Thanks in anticipation.

As above. What you have is an invoice and not a fine. If you contact them they will think that you are wavering and will write even more to you so ignore. The appeals procedure is redundant as it is 'in house' so only one outcome. You may recieve a few letters from a DCA threatening you with all sorts-again ignore. They will give up after that. Take care :)
