Hi all,

i need some advice quickly,

i had a phone call from mercers today

asking for me to pay up 2200 on a loan which i opened in 2004 jan for sheidegger. and was unfairly treated on their course then kicked off.

but i'm honest and still paying my money up.

however they were charging me each time i was paying a few days before by giro, yet they were still charging.

an original load 4 years ago of 2000 with no interest

now is 2200. after god knows how many payments of 75.00 and some 300.00

wheres the maths, i've requested a stamtent again.

so mercers are after 2200

barclays though have offfered me abotu a month ago 1800 as settlement

back in march 2007 after i initially complained they wiped all charges and said 1600

see the mulitple offers here?

now i phone barclays,

and they tell me

where do i legally stand?

mercerse are pressuring me for settling now.

yet barclays have sent a letter through saying

we understand current climate and problems

REF code on letter is PRO-TRP

was sent to me on 19th december

they have

redueced my payments from 75.00 to 22.50

so i've been paying 25.00

what is my best course of action to get a figure and settle this.

i am then planning on looking at getting this all back thanks to sheidegger.

Need help and advice quickly

i think they are gonna phone up again.

yep there is goes.

Hi Rocketpulse and welcome to CAG.

To check the true position, if you don't have statements covering the duration of the a/c, send Barclays a SAR requesting all statements since the a/c began.

Read the Reclaiming Guide in Link No1 in my signature below.

If there are penalty charges on the a/c, Barclays WILL repay them if you tackle the matter in the right way.

If Mercers contact you, tell them to go away as you have a formal dispute or complaint running with Barclays. Then hang up !

We could do with some help from you
