I have been with BT since October 2007 and have had many issues with them, however my main problem now is that I have moved and house (yesterday) and my old house is stood empty as it is through a letting agent who have it available for rent the week commencing Feb 13!.

Basically I have just rang BT to cancel my account and have been told that I have to pay a further 2 weeks line rental regardless of the fact that I have no acess to that line now and it is obviously going to be unused in that time.

Is this right?

I'm worse at what I do best and for this gift I feel blessed

I'm afraid so. If you knew you were going to be moving, you could have advised them 14 days earlier and then service would have ceased on the day you left.

Please note: I have no qualifications in this area and any advice offered is given in good faith.
