Surely this can not be allowed. HSBC own MCS. MCS have no employees therfore when you call MCS its the HSBC you are talking to. Standing orderes are paid to the HSBC even though you have been told that the debit is with MCS by the HSBC and MCS.

The Debt has changed hands

Now MCS do not own the debt, DLC own the debt. DLC said that the HSBC sold it to them, but the HSBC say that the debt was sold to MCS (who are HSBC), MCS said that they no longer manage the debt and have given details of new owner.

sorry if that is confusing.

My point is (and please can i have feedback on it).

If you have a loan with a bank and are paying it, they can not just sell the loan coz they want to (it makes not snce for them to either)

So If MCS is HSBC how can they just sell the loan (Your paying them what is owed) that you have been paying regulary for 3-4 years without any gaps and also not inform you of this. Just a nasty call from the other collectors.

Surly there is some rule for umbrella companies (if that was MCS are).

Under what ground can HSBC or MCS just decide that the debt is changing hands....if payments have been made with not arreas (to MCS).

If MCS are the HSBC shouldn't they give you a chance to pay the outstanding before selling the debt.
