Not too sure whether any1 has one of these accounts, its from the Halifax, called moneyback current account, just got through the post notice of condition changes from Feb 08 2009...

No longer will we earn cashback on debit card transactions, instead we will earn a £5 reward if a grand or more is paid into the account per month, there will be NO overdraft charges/fees, instead get charged either £1 PER DAY on arranged overdrafts up to a certain amount then £2 PER DAY on overdrafts over a certain amount. unarranged overdrafts will be charged at a massive £5 PER DAY which could amount to HUGE sums for the bank over a set month from some customers..

If you are in ur overdraft for three wks of the month you can expect to be charged for 21 days at either £1 or £2 per day. thats a lot of charges for the bank to claw in from any one customer...

Thankfully i cleared my £1,500 overdraft just before christmas, otherwise i would from Feb be paying about £30 per month to the bank.

Any1 whom has one of these accounts, it might be in ur best intrests to try clear any overdraft before the new charges opps the halifax now like to call them FEES, comes into force....

I've tryed to scan the letter of conditions etc on ere but failed.. not very gd at such...
