If you have completed a claim against HSBC say for the last couple of years and then they charge again, is there any technical/ legal reason why you cannot start another action against them for charges outside the period of your original claim?

I dont think thay could make you repay any loans as these are fixed term arrangements.

O/D's are repayable on demand so they could close your account and make you pay this back within 30 days.

I find it unlikely that the bank can force the repayment of a bank loan. I have though got another bank account setup when Is started my first claim.

Just was asking as I am about to start a second against HSBC

Thats what happened to me!! 1st claim paid up and then I sent a 2nd letter for a £ 100 charge, which was settled up a week later. The war for me is over. The gnomes at HSBC are a bit like the borg in star trek now and adapting their behaviour towards charges.
