Advice needed please.

I have a credit card debt with Halifax which is being pursued by Apex. I sent a CCA request on the 24th Nov which they received and signed for. Heard nothing within the prescribed time. Sent an Account in Dispute letter on the 10th Dec.

Had heard nothing until today when I received a phone call. I explained I would not discuss the matter until I received the information I was entitled to. At this point the lady on the other end informed me that the Halifax had sent me the relevant documents on the 9th Dec. I told her I had received nothing from the Halifax. She then told me she would talk to the Halifax after Christmas and ended the call. Should I just wait and see what happens now.

I am also waiting for the Halifax to respond to my request for a list of charges applied to my account, as I intend to reclaim these. Does this affect the status of any ongoing dispute.

I've had an ongoing battle with Halifax for amost a year now.(but still no court action I might add.) I've had the same problem getting a CCA from them. In February I sent them the CCA request. They kept telling me they had sent one, but I never received it.

This went on for 3 months. In the end I send a formal complaint about the conduct of their company.

1, Failure to provide a CCA within the specified time limit.

2, 75 phone calls dispite 2 letters asking not to phone me.

3, One of their staff discussing my account with another member of my household without any security checks.

4, Trying to obtain payment on an account that was in dispute.

The end result was a feeble form letter 8 weeks later that failed to address any of the issues.

Then a few days later they pass the account onto Moorcroft, and it all starts again.

It's now with Iqor as of last week, and they call around 5 times a day. They are a right stroppy lot to deal with too.

When they contact you again, post the results on here. I still have copies of the letters I sent to them, so can post you some good letter templates to keep them busy for a while.

These are video links to show how I deal with Debt Collectors.
