They are stopping that soon, ie immediately charging you and they will be giving notice of doing so at some point next year. The account was a step account I would suspect, and the £38 was an unpaid item. You need to read the FAQ's on the site and start the process.

Hi there I'm new to this site. But would like to help on this matter. Banks are only supposed to charge you a "fair" amount usually £12.00.So check your statements.Phone their help desk.Explain the stituation.Be polite but firm and don't put the phone down untilyou get a result. If all this fails write to there complaints department. If this fails take it up with the Ombudsman. You will win but probably only get the difference between £38.00-£12.00 ie £24.00.But don't give up. Don't give in. Fight the B(Edit)s all theway.

You should call them. Is this your first charge? If so then they should return this to your account.

Hi, Chickaroo.

Claim the charge back, It's always worth phoning them first and ask them to refund it, if they dont you can always take them to court.

Regards.

Scott.
