I am sending off a CCA on behalf of my sister to Thames Credit (it's for an old HSBC loan).

I know that with the CCA template that s.78 refers to a credit card agreement, so as this is an old bank loan would I be correct in putting s.77 on the request?

Thanks :)

Saw a post yesterday that said 77 refers to fixed interest loans, 78 to variable interest loans.

So I assume it is 77 I dont see why you could not put 77 / 78 as standard this option would also then cover for example a fixed interest loan that becomes variable on default.
