Oh dear, I knew this would be controversial.

 

well, the very nature of benefits and how low they are means these people can ill afford to contribute, I'm sorry but people like me who can afford to do so should which is why this gentleman should keep his £10 and I'll pay it for him on his behalf, once I figure out what pay the pal is, my son will do it, he sells rubbish on ebay.

 

I'm a socialist and I believe those less fortunate than myself in society I have a duty to help

If you're willing to do that for me, why don't you just do it on your own behalf. I knew I should have done a PM rather than ask the question in open forum but as I'm still a bit green I didn't know who to PM as the site team are very busy so thought that someone else would know the answer. Next time (and their will be a next time) I'll keep quiet.

Absolutely. I only found this forum a couple of months ago and I fervently believe that it should continue in it's present format(free at the point of use)

The occasional donation does nobody any harm and you do get a warm feeling (unless I've wet myself again:grin:) As and when I can do so again,I will. It may not be for a few months. I've not been able to go out for the last couple of weeks due to my illness and this site has helped me keep my sanity so I look on it this way, I have spent very little on fuel so I have money to spare so I see nothing wrong in putting it to good use AND it is the season of good will.

Can one of the site team either close this thread or remove it as the information I wanted has been given and further debate is now moot.
