Hi Does anyone have the postal address for Education Maintenance Allowance?

I have looked everywhere for it to no avail.

My daughter is still waiting for her contract to be sent out to her and whenever I phone the helpline I get a very unsatisfactory response ( usually that her claim as been processed and the contract is in the post ) this has been happening for ten weeks now. I would like to complain to someone but need an address to do it...any help would be much appreciated:)

More information on BBC News website.

BBC NEWS | Education | Liberata 'was warned about EMAs'

According to our local paper last Thursday(20th Nov), anyone who has applied will have their EMA backdated to the date application was received.

For those Students in Wales, EMA is being dealt with by Student Loan Company

To be honest I don't think writing to them will do any good as it's in the process of being handed over from Liberta to Centrica. But I'll have a look and see if I can find any correspondence with either or both addresses.

Learner Support Service,

Darlington,

DL1 4WD

...is where they send their application forms to. Hopefully her app has been processed now though? They have sped up. Her college may need to submit a backdate authorisation spreadsheet in order to authorise payments from the beginning of September.

And it's being passed to Capita, not Centrica. Gods help us all...
