so, i send the Data Protection Letter to my local branch but the follow up letter that actually requests the bank charges to...?

If you send the follow up letter to the branch, it makes it easier later on as you can use a local court (if it gets that far).

 

All branches are offices of the bank, so it doesn't really matter.
