Hi

I wondered if anyone has had a similar prob - i have had a faulty washing machine at my propr since i moved in, it was replaced with another faulty washing machine and now due to the 'credit crunch' the landlord is saying he is no longer going to be responsible for it.

I assumed that this was an implied term even though not actually stated in the AST?

anyone got any views?

he is now threatening to seek possession on this ground!

as i have argued with him - unbelievable.

Are you in a fixed term currently? Is the washing machine listed on any inventory you may have signed? Does it mention electricals in the AST at all?
