Idle curiosity and hypothetical question. It would seem set in stone, 'do not' sign any letter to a DCA. I'm Taffy Thomas, what would be the implications if my sister (Theresa Thomas) signed a letter to one (on my behalf) as (T Thomas). Our signatures are totally different but have the same characters and a forensic graphologist would have no trouble identifying they were not made by the same person, and then that DCA supplied me a document bearing her signature.

the implications in your hypothetical question would be the DCA had commited an act of fraud. if they supply an agreement supposedly yours and it has the hypothetical sisters signature on it then i'd say some one is in deep do do.

the foremost reason for not signing any correspondence to any creditors/debt collectors

thats my look on it
