Hi There,

I currently have an outstanding debt with nationwide, around £2000, most of which is bank charges. They recently defaulted my account, even though I had agreed to make small monthly payments with them until the bank charges case is closed.

As a next step, I contacted nationwide using the templates you have, requesting my statement of charges be repaid.

They replied to me with a standard letter that basically stated that all cases are currently on hold due to the bank charges case. A fairly standard response by the looks of this.

Where do I go from here? The next template is only relevant if they havn't replied, which they have - stating they are unable to act until the case is closed.

Whats my next step? - should I continue and inform them that I am filing for legal proceedings? - the next step?

Thanks
