Dave you know this is a really easy one.

This should put them to bed in double quick time:

Dear twunt,

Thank you for your letter of Blah, the contents of which are noted.

After taking advice, I wish to inform you that I will no longer be conversing with any member of your company concerning this debt, As you have blatantly failed to address any of the points I have raised in my previous letters.

Any further communications concerning this alleged debt will only be conducted through due process of the County Court system.

Continuation of these baseless threats WILL results in serious legal ramifications for your company and any employees that choose to ignore this FINAL response.

I trust I make myself clear in this regard and I do NOT expect to receive a response to this letter unless it is an apology for the distress and harassment you have caused me.

Your faithfully

DMD, yes THAT DMD

(Your worst nightmare)

Be VERY careful whose advice you listen too

I'd reply back along the lines of

Muppet no 1 had this debt on xxx date and admitted no enforceable agreement, muppet xxx had it on xxx date, muppet xxxx had it on xxx date and now you - what part of NO ENFORCABLE AGREEMENT would you like translated?

As you and all the other muppets are in breach of the Trading Standards and OFT copies of your letter (and theirs admitting no enforceable agreements) are being sent - as I have already asked for your complaints process and been through this once I do NOT need to go through it again by your own admission -all business between us must now be via the courts.

I'm dealing with them too over another matter - expecting to get a court date soon - but as its already been to court and thrown out I shall claim a lot of charges and harrassment.

RWC are morons, and appear to have limited cognitive ability. So:

Dear Curs

I refer to your letter of (date). Since your client is in default of a formal request pursuant to s.78(1) of the Consumer Credit Act 1974, and have admitted that they are unable to comply, your demand for payment is unlawful.

This correspondence is now closed.

Yours etc.

I refer to your letter of (date). Since your client is in default of a formal request pursuant to s.78(1) of the Consumer Credit Act 1974, and have admitted that they are unable to comply, your demand for payment is unlawful.

I therefore invite you to bring proceedings in the County Court if you feel lucky. Do you feel lucky? Well, do you, punks?

Go ahead, make my day.

Yours etc.

Dave,

The evil sod in me says you have to keep this going as long as you can. You've got to try and make them spend more trying to collect it than the debt was worth in the first place. Personally, I would lead them down the garden path for as long as I could.

For everyone's sake, you have to do that!

Regards.

Ignore them until they file a court claim. Get it stuck out, then go after them for costs. If we all did that, they'd be more careful who they go after in the future.

Looking forward to the next DMD adventure. If it was made into a reality tv show. It would be the one and only reality tv show I'd actually bother to watch.

How about phoning them up and using a Gordon Ramsay soundboard to confuse them a bit?

These are video links to show how I deal with Debt Collectors.

Dave why not just send them a letter with an email link to this very thread then they could get all our views at once. Im taking bets on how long it is before you end up at the desk of the delightful Hayley Felton

I think I'll subscribe to this thread for the prospective entertainment value! :D

Go for it Dave, and I hope you get to hit them for some costs as a little bonus for your troubles.

Ok.... Here we go....

I've decided not to go down the confrontational line with this (yet).

Business like, professional and clear cut...

That's the company line isn't it...? :)

Any way here goes......

img008.jpg

and here's the letter I attached for ease of reference by DML...

Going out tomorrow, and yes I know, there's a typo on "breach", it's corrected on the letter going out.

Wait and see now I suppose....

More than likely crossed with mine in the post, so not even going to

grace them with a reply. They can deal with my complaint first.

New letter to me this one...

ACT NOW!

TELL US!

TAKE NOTICE!

WE CAN HELP!

It's enough to make me wanna puke!

If they have a heart (which I doubt) then we should be sharpening our stakes to stab the ba****ds with. Hope I'm not being too unsensitive.

Insensitive at 17.17pm.

I think staking is better after the 9.00pm watershed, that's when Buffy was at her best...

and her best was always good enough.

If i'm honest, I don't actually think they'll reply to my last letter. I think

they'll just send it back to the sess-pit in Brighton and wash their hands

of it rather than give me the pleasure of having one over on them.

Let's not delude ourselves, they do know who I am!

I've stood outside their Head Office taking photo's, goaded them

over the 'phone, and asked them for a job as a debt collector...

To name just a few!!

It would of course be nice if they actually did the right thing and

wrote back apologising for the inconvenience and further explaining

that after contacting their client they can confirm that they will

have no further dealings with the account......

Start holding breath now.........
