hey guys,

i have been trying to find out whats likely to happen to my halifax credit card following the lloyds takeover, i cant seem to find any information regarding this anywhere. i have a £1000 limit and currently owe £950, im about to pay the whole thing off. is it likely that they will cancel my card after i have done this or will it be business as usual?

Hi there

I wouldnt imagine that they would cancel your card. Why would they do such a thing? If you are paying regularly you are considered a good customer and they would want to keep you - and so will Lloyds TSB!!!

I do hope that Lloyds TSB have taken into account the amount HBOS will owe in relation to bank charges when the case does (finally!) come to a close.
