Hello

My boyfriend has had a series of problems over the last year with an NHS dentist. I wont bore you with every detail but the problems concluded in him chocking on the crown they had fitted which had fallen out whilst he was sleeping after only 3 days! The complaints procedure has been long and arduous and I am not satisfied with their response.

Does anyone know where I stand legally in this matter?

Thanks

Well the short answer is yes, however its really the dentist who you take action against IMHO.

As you have I believe exhausted the complaints procedure, you should raise a complaint via the Parliamentary and health service Ombudsman. this is a link to the web page Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman - home
