Hey Emms - well done filing your claim etc.. a bit fiddley but will be worth it - glad the exemption stuff helped you out - I know money is tough to come by etc.. and more so when you have kids and committments etc..

You can either totally ignore the banks offer completely - or do the will accept it as partial payment only thing - the choice is yours.

Emms now you have filed your claim it won't take long honestly - look at the dates on my signiture and you'll see for my hubby and son it hasn't been that long - the Banks don't really have any alternatives do they? All they can do is stall for time by filing a defence which they really don't have -

I reckon it's as I read from another post the Banks are getting swamped by these claims and getting backlogs etc.. they stall to allow themselves time to deal with it etc..

BUT you will get it very soon which will be brilliant!!

Emms you don't need good luck - you will win!! :D:lol:

Could one of the moderators change the title of this thread to 'got it all back'.( thankyou)

Thank you to everyone whose answered my questions and supported me ( especially Elizabeth - bless you)I can now pay off all my depts and enjoy my freedom again. Not to mention eating a bit more:smile:
