I recently had 2 business lines installed when we started a new buisness.

The line were due to go live on 'Day 1' so we spent a great deal on marketing (with the new numbers on the marketing) that went live on 'day 3'

Checked phones on 'day 2' to find not working and reported to BT

Day1 (Friday) - lines go in - dead

Day 2 weekend

Day 3 weekend

Day 4 -(Monday) report issue

Day 5- BT come to fix - but leave saying it is fixed when tested find it isnt.

Day 6 - log another fault

Day 7 - BT come to fix - but leave saying it is fixed when tested find it isnt.

Day 7 pm - log another fault

Day 8 - weekend

Day 9 - Weekend

Day 10 BT Fix the phone lines

We obviously dont know how much business was lost due to the phone lines not working.

Should compensation be available?

Thanks

Glenn

how long has your business been open now. if it is within the 30days log the amount of phonecalls you get for the next 10days. add up the amount of what every you sell from these phonecalls.

send it to BT and tell them that you could have lost this much money due to phonelines not working.

if no joy contact Ofcom
