My daughter has a debenhams store card, she has quite a few charges against her due to late payment, this has spiralled out of control as she now has a default notice against her, and this is only due to the amount of charges etc, i'll start the ball rolling for her to get the detail of the charges, will she be able to get the default removed?

cheers

Hi salty

If, as you say, the debt that has been defaulted is made up (almost) entirely of charges, then she stands a good chance of gettiong the default removed. The only thing is to make sure that the default removal and calim for charges don't get separated (eg she mustn't settle for repayment of the charges if the settlement doesn't include default removal).

The preliminary letter and letter before action tempplates in the templates library include default removal (at least they used to, I haven't looked recently).

Keep us posted and we'll help/guide you through the process.
