I think from reading these forums (but I may be wrong ) that if the agreement is unenforcable you can either tell the banks that the debt is invalid or look for some kind of write off but as I said I have got a few cards all with zero balances. Is it worth me still checking the validity of the agreement? Can I still claim some kind of monetry retribution?

what you mean is you have credit cards that have a zero balance but you want to claim back money you have paid if they have no cca?

 

if so then no.

 

but you can claim any unlawful charges back if thesre are any

there is an argument per the judgment of Kiriri Cotton Co Ltd v Dewani - [1960] 1 All ER 177 to a restitutionary remedy for at least the interest paid under a mistake of fact or law

 

however, we do not advise people to take on such a task unless you are fluent in the case law and are competent in pleading your case before the court
