You have to match your computer to whatever has been setup in the main wireless router. You need to know the SSID, the type of security (WPA, WPA2 etc), and the IP range, although if it uses DHCP then it will automatically assign your IP address.

 

You will need to find out who looks after the Internet access in your accomodation, and ask them for these details.
