i was wondering if anyone was able to offer any advice at all - i am getting no where with Thomas Cook!


We booked a holiday to go to Egypt for Christmas 2007 and when we arrived at the Airport we got put on a coach etc. when we arrived at the hotel we were informed by the hotel staff that there was no record of us staying there (we were due to stay at Ghazala Gardens). we were informed by the holiday rep that in fact we had been changed to a different hotel The Park Inn, in a different location out of Naama Bay (it took us 30 mins to get from the Ghazala Gardens to the Park Inn!)


when speaking to the holiday rep the next day we were informed that there was nothing they could do - we requested to be sent back to the UK and were told that they could not do that and could only offer us £25 per person!


The hotel was not a patch on what we were meant to stay in and plus was not even Naama Bay ! i have wrote to Thomas Cook as there was a lot more that happened and they have stated that they will still offer us £25 per person plus they could not tell us the hotel was changes as the office was closed on Christmas Day (we flew out on 23rd December!).


please can anyone help me as i am getting very frustrated with this complaint!

Don't fuss with them Jilly, send them one letter only with a demand you will be happy with and threaten court action.

If you don't get what you want then carry it through.

All the court cases I have seen where one of these bloody tour operators have ended up in court, they have lost.
