Hi HP

I know others may feel differently but maybe the best is to just forget any more action and write BOS out of your life. I,m sure you have lots of better things to do with your precious time.

ANyway best of luck whatever you decide.

I have a friend who is a manager in one of the departments at Halifax head office (not debt collecting!) and he told me that there will be very few keep their jobs there esp in the collecting side as Loyds TSB is considered more efficient.

So the person that was so crappy on first contact in this matter may find out how bad it can be on the other end of the phone, hopefully. ; )

It is a shame the idiots couldn't have come to their senses sooner, but there is more satisfaction in seeing off a determined enemy than a weak one.

Take heart from the fact that you remained strong and they didn't. Bullies and thugs who weren't prepared to follow through on what their mouth was saying.

You will have grown stronger from the experience, and they will have become weaker. Do think about PT's letter demanding costs. It might just make them think twice if the same situation arose in the future.

Fantastic news! I know how ruthless ths organisation can be following the death of my father a few years ago - the level of upset they caused me was on a daily basis upsetting and completely devastating.

How thoroughly brilliant for you AND everyone who can take heart from your story and the strength you have had to find from within.

Bank and credit card reclaims - £9,806

Sainsburys CCA non-compliance with FOS;

Natwest reclaim of £340 in progress;

Egg credit card reclaim in progress

Great news - couldn't happen to a nicer Bank :p

Also, well done to EVERYONE who offered advice and support, you deserve a drink - and Martin3030 has told me that he will buy you all one - so it's a contract!

Hmn I forgot about that one.

I was looking in the J2B black book of excuses (avoidance or rounds ).........he dropped it last year.

Round is conditional on proof of age.This can be by way of producing recognised acceptable proof of name

Ie Passport...Driving licence with paper portion in the case of Photo card.

Letter from Tax office,Utility bill or rent office.

Letter from your best mate which advocates that you are not afraid and financially able to get the NEXT round in.

Proof that you left your car at home and are not therefore tempted to drive after drinking.

Sworn affidavit by witnessed by a local Court or Solicitor that states I will not be held responsible for any third party action,should you spill or drop your drink on anyone....who later makes a claim.

And if you can comply with all that....then theres a good chance you will get a free drink.

But only if the Landlord agrees to levy the 15% vat 2 days early.;)
