hi ,this is my first post not sure what to write but here goes ,took nationwide to court for bank charges over £2000 used money claim online ,this was august 2007 nationwide put in a defence and cliam was stayed at northhampton court ,apealed against stay in november 2007 stating hardship case,april 1 2008 got court papers ordering stay be lifted and sent to my local court (hartlepool)stating 14 days for parties to respond so time is up today .so i will phone court to get an update ,will post again when something happens.

It's great to see at least one Court is prepared to lift a stay.:)

 

It would be very interesting to see the wording of your hardship case. Perhaps you would not mind posting it here if you have chance, leaving out your personal details of course !

hi lex ,spoke to the court today ,case went to the judge on 9th of april 2008,so just waiting to find out what rulling he makes .on the hardship case i read all the stuff on martins money site,and just worded it for myself,ie if you have mortage or rent arrears or are in debt the stay would cause undue hardship because you could if you won use the money to pay debts etc,if i get time i will post case in more detail.

Is your user name your actual name ? If so you may want to change it to something that cant be linked to you :)

 

Its just a precaution but banks and others have been known to visit the forum. If you do want a name change then just ask :)

hi what does pm mean ?

my hearing for application to lift stay is 28 /5/2008 does anyone have any advice or imformation about what happens in court.
